St. Francisville Neighborhood Plans
Drawing on historic DNA to grow a small southern town
One of Louisiana’s treasured historic small towns needed a plan for future growth. St. Francisville Area Foundation engaged UDA to master plan former school properties into new, affordable, walkable neighborhoods within the town’s historic core. In an open public planning process that included neighbors, stakeholders, and interested citizens, UDA developed an overall master plan inspired by the “DNA” of the town’s original vision. The Master Plans were approved by the Planning Commission in the fall of 2017.
