UDA is a multi-disciplined urban design and architecture practice based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and we are seeking accomplished, experienced urban designers with 2-10 years of experience to join our team. Your primary role will be to work collaboratively in one of UDA’s urban design teams, developing urban design projects, presentations, interacting with clients, and traveling to charrettes and public meetings.

An experienced designer.

At UDA, you will be

Developing and executing design and planning ideas, presentation drawings, and documents.
Collaborating with your team members, clients, public officials, stakeholders, and citizens in the development of design ideas.

you have

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
2-10 years of professional experience in urban design.
Architectural registration (AIA), and/or American Institute of Certified Planners certification (AICP), LEED AP, or GA are ideal.
A portfolio that demonstrates compelling design and hand drawing skills across a variety of project scales.
Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and GIS.
