Expanding a French new town
In collaboration with E.R.A.S.M.E./Études Urbaines, UDA prepared a master plan and architectural concept for Génitoy Est. This 2,500-unit neighborhood will complete the ambitious new town of Bussy St. Georges east of Paris. The challenge was establishing a desirable image for upper-market single-family houses in a mixed-income new town with many multi-family and attached houses. The design created a Park Way, which extends the proposed Génitoy Park to the open agricultural landscape at the edge of town.
