Daybreak Garden Park
An active-adult neighborhood that embraces walkability and connectivity
Between 2010-2012, UDA worked with the Daybreak community development team to design a new model for active-adult living. The Master Plan promotes outdoor living through a fine-grained network of pedestrian-friendly paseos, streets, and open spaces, all connected to Daybreak's robust open space network. In addition to the master plan, UDA designed a clubhouse, and a suite of homes that included 10-unit condominiums, townhomes, and small cottages. Sustainable design strategies were used in the planning, stormwater management/landscape design (by Design Workshop), and architecture to promote healthy living.
